SSOE Group is seeking an Electrical Designer specializing in Instrumentation & Controls to join our Advanced Tech SBU. You will use Revit to translate concepts into precise deliverables within a multidisciplinary team guided by senior designers and engineers.

This ground‑floor opportunity targets a motivated junior professional eager to master design fundamentals, codes, and cutting‑edge digital tools, including AI‑driven workflows to boost efficiency.

Formación

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Six months to three years or more of experience as an electrical designer.
  • Experience focusing on instrumentation and controls electrical design.
  • Experience with low and medium voltage building systems (facilities).
  • AutoCAD prior experience.
  • Advanced English. Will report to US.

Responsabilidades

  • Work on markups using Revit to create precise electrical and I&C design packages.
  • Apply design fundamentals to systems/sub-systems, focusing on instrumentation and control loops.
  • Collaborate with higher-level designers/engineers to solve design problems.
  • Perform routine design tasks with increasing responsibility under supervision.
  • Conduct design computations to support engineering requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of codes (e.g., NEC) to ensure safety and compliance.

In this role, you won't just be drafting; you’ll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team designing complex facilities for some of the world’s most innovative companies. Under the mentorship of senior designers and engineers, you will use Revit to translate engineering concepts into precise technical deliverables. This is a "ground‑floor" opportunity designed for a motivated professional with a junior profile who is eager to master design fundamentals, learn complex codes, and leverage cutting‑edge digital tools like AI to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Work on markups provided by higher‑level designers/engineers using Revit to create precise electrical and I&C design packages.
  • Apply design fundamentals to entire systems or sub‑systems, specifically focusing on instrumentation, control loops, and electrical layouts.
  • Solve design problems, with expected assistance and collaboration from more experienced team members.
  • Perform a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of senior designers or senior engineers.
  • Technical computations: work from own designs and designs of others, compile data, and perform design computations to support engineering requirements.
  • Work under close supervision with work effort frequently checked during progress and reviewed upon completion to ensure professional development and quality.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the discipline's codes (such as NEC) and study non‑routine code issues to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Use AI or similar digital technology to perform the job function, aligning with SSOE’s commitment to innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Desirable: Engineering bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering or any related field.
  • Six months to three years or more of experience as an electrical designer.
  • Prior experience as an electrical designer focused on instrumentation and controls electrical design.
  • Experience with low and medium voltage building systems (facilities).
  • AutoCAD prior experience.
  • Advanced English. Will report to US.
Desirable Skills
  • Prior Revit experience.
  • Prior Revit training.
  • Understanding of instrumentation, PLC/control hardware, or electrical schematics is highly preferred.
