Daikin Manufacturing México is seeking an engineer to develop and maintain electrical systems for HVAC equipment. The role involves creating CAD models, drawings, and BOMs, while collaborating with senior designers to tailor standard designs for customers.

You will contribute to cost and performance improvements, ensuring safety and quality. Advanced English and a relevant associate degree are required, with a focus on manufacturing-ready solutions.

Formación

• Must have an associate degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong CAD experience for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
• English Advanced to Proficient is required.

Responsabilidades

Contributes on development & sustaining of engineering of electrical systems of HVAC equipment working with Engineering rules for generation process automation, to deliver Harnesses List, Lay outs /CAD work, Schematics & BOM to manufacture products into a PLM framework

• Generates 3D models, drawings, and lists of materials for new designs and for maintaining existing one, using design software and product lifecycle management (ECO Process) platform keeping manufacturability and cost in mind for Electrical Systems for HVAC equipment.
• Co-operate with upper-level designers and engineers on systematic development of containments and corrective actions for manufacturing, warranty and product performance problems using creativity, engineering principles, standards, historical information, and software
• Under supervision collaborates on the transformation of standard designs into customized designs for customer satisfaction, ensuring product performance, safety, and quality.
• Gives support in projects of improvement on cost, product performance and component replacement to increase the company's competitive position
• Under supervision is an engineering representant to provide technical guide to others in the organization
• Follows the strict application of applicable regulations of the sector in all design processes to guarantee compliance in safety, quality, and performance
• Receives from others mentoring to close knowledge gaps in hard and soft skills
• Gets training of various kinds to close knowledge gaps to improve performance on the role or to prepare for a new position
• Engages in process improvements seeking leanness
• Meets project management plan that allows a group to understand its tasks, duration, interactions to maintain synchronization in the deliverables and ensure that the project is completed properly
• Under supervision, performs development or maintenance work on designs and schematics of electrical systems for HVAC equipment.
• Assist in the acquisition of materials and the construction of prototypes to evaluate the developed concept.
• Contributes to executing tasks by meeting the deadlines and deliverables established in project plans (NPI, CIP/VAVE or Engineering Projects)
• Support for the development or maintenance of deliverables (PFC, cable list, designs and schematics) of electrical systems for HVAC equipment.
• Minimum: Graduated on associate degree in industrial design, Mechanical Electrical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering
• Inglés: Advanced to Proficient.
• HVAC is a pluss
• Basic Electrical Knowledge
• CAD experience (Electrical and mechanical)
• Programming Language knowledge
