Job summary

Nexon Automation in Mexico is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission electrical and automatic control systems for industrial machinery according to customer specifications and standards.

You will implement complex control programs, program HMIs and PLCs (Siemens and Allen-Bradley), select components, validate solutions, and collaborate with manufacturing and customers to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
Advanced English is required; passport and visa required.
3–5 years of experience in electrical control design for industrial automation.
Knowledge of electrical and safety standards including NFPA 79 and ANSI/RIA standards.

Responsibilities

Designs industrial electrical control systems to meet customer specs and standards.
Architects control architectures; selects communication protocols and equipment.
Develops code for PLCs and configures vision systems; creates templates to speed programming.
Identifies failure modes; conducts risk and safety assessments in designs.
Validates, commissions, tests equipment; collaborates with manufacturing and customers to resolve issues.
Analyzes manufacturing processes to define optimal control solutions and offerings.
