Autoliv in Mexico is seeking a Health Safety and Sustainability Engineer to coordinate Health & Safety, manage Medical Services, and ensure alignment with corporate standards.

You will lead safety and environmental compliance, audit regulatory controls, investigate incidents, develop proactive safety initiatives, and train employees while promoting a strong safety culture.

Travel availability and visas for cross-border activities are required to support operations and compliance across sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) role.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican safety, health, and environmental regulations (STPS, IMSS, Civil Protection, Fire Department, etc.).
• Advanced English proficiency for cross-functional communications.
• Travel availability and valid U.S. and Mexican business visas.

Responsabilidades

• Lead workplace safety and environmental compliance programs per regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare reports and preventive actions.
• Develop and monitor safety initiatives and track KPIs and reports.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and liaise with authorities for readiness.
• Provide safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
