Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in EHS, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing industry, preferably metal-mechanic.

Descripción del empleo

Lead, develop, and execute the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy across the organization, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards, while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. Drive a strong safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives, training, and leadership engagement, contributing to operational excellence, sustainability, and the protection of employees, assets, and the environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in EHS.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing industry (preferably metal-mechanic).
• Experience implementing and auditing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (STPS, SEMARNAT, Civil Protection or equivalent).
• Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of risk assessment tools (JSA, HAZOP, FMEA, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
• Experience with Power BI or reporting tools is a plus.
• Intermediate-advanced English (required).
• Strong leadership, effective communication, decision-making, analytical thinking, results-oriented mindset, proactivity, and influence skills.
