Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an EHS professional to serve as a facility EHS Lead/Staff, ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety standards at the site level in Querétaro. The role involves implementing EHS programs, conducting training, and coordinating with site and corporate teams to maintain safe operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of EHS experience, knowledge of regulations, and strong leadership and communication skills to mentor safety teams and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Environmental Engineering / Science or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of EHS experience with progressive assignments; professional certification desired.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS policies.
• Experience with life safety codes, EHS rules, HAZOP and industrial hygiene.
• Strong project/problem-resolution and communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Lotus Notes and role-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Implements Company EHS programs and site procedures to ensure compliance.
• Organizes EH&S function at sites to maintain accident prevention programs.
• Organizes training and education to support regulatory and business requirements.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log, permits, and regulatory records.
• Investigates incidents, injuries, and near misses; provides guidance.
• Mentors facility safety teams and coordinates regulatory issues with customers.
• Manages process safety program and 14 elements of PSM.
