Stryker Group in Baja California, Mexico seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader for a manufacturing site in Tijuana. The role balances regulatory compliance with safety, health, and industrial hygiene programs across Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related technical discipline.
• Fluent English and Spanish proficiency (written and verbal).
• Minimum 7 years of Environmental, Health & Safety leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing environmental permitting, regulatory inspections, and industrial hygiene/occupational health programs.
• Experience managing contractor safety programs and high-risk operations.
• Working knowledge of Mexico environmental, health, and labor regulations.
• Knowledge of process safety standards (e.g., NOM-028-STPS-2012) or equivalent regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Own and lead site Environmental, Health & Safety programs and management systems.
• Establish and sustain a strong safety culture through visible leadership and engagement across site functions.
• Maintain field presence through safety walks, contractor oversight, and risk assessments.
• Serve as site owner for environmental permitting and regulatory compliance including reporting and agency interactions.
• Partner with Legal, Engineering, Operations, and Quality to assess process changes and regulatory impacts.
• Lead industrial hygiene and EO-related compliance programs including exposure monitoring and health surveillance.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and analyze EHS metrics to drive continuous improvement.
