Dematic is seeking an experienced EHS leader to own environmental, health, and safety performance across Mexico operations and LATAM project sites. This high-impact role combines regulatory leadership in Mexico with project-based EHS support across the region.

The successful candidate will develop and implement EHS standards, protocols, training programs, audit practices, and performance metrics that support safe and successful project execution.

Formación

• 6–8 years of experience in EHS leadership within industrial, manufacturing, logistics, material handling, automation, or distribution center environments.
• Proven experience managing EHS across multiple sites or countries.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations, including STPS requirements and NOM standards.
• Experience supporting construction, installation, commissioning, or project execution environments.
• Experience leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, audits, emergency planning, and contractor safety programs.
• Strong understanding of EHS metrics, including EMR, TRIR, and DART.
• Ability to build and present EHS reports and risk recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Fluent Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of EHS standards, protocols, and performance.
• Willingness to travel across Mexico and Latin America as required.

Responsabilidades

• Own STPS filings, NOM compliance, permits, and inspection readiness.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Mexican labor and safety authorities.
• Monitor changes in Mexican EHS regulations and ensure site-level compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Provide EHS oversight across project sites throughout Latin America.
• Support project teams during active construction, installation, and build-out phases.
• Develop site-specific EHS plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
• Coordinate with local EHS partners and consultants in countries requiring local regulatory expertise.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis across Mexico and LATAM project sites.
• Define and maintain emergency response plans for each site.
• Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Escalate significant incidents according to established protocols.
• Own EHS metrics tracking and reporting, including EMR, TRIR, DART, and safety-related delivery metrics.
• Prepare regular performance reports for regional leadership.
• Translate EHS data into clear business, cost, and risk insights for executive audiences.
• Identify trends and recommend actions to improve EHS performance.
