Responsibilities

Implement Industrial Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental programs to prevent hazardous or unhealthy working conditions and protect the environment.
Create, monitor, and audit the Environmental Control System in line with regulations from municipal, state, and federal agencies.
Coordinate and ensure proper functioning of the Safety and Hygiene Commission.
Establish a monthly inspection rounds program in production and administrative areas with the Health and Safety Committee.
Monitor handling, storage, and disposal of materials and waste to comply with environmental laws.
Implement and monitor the Contingency Plan in coordination with authorities for emergency response.
