Job summary

Kerr in Umán, Yucatán is seeking an EHS professional to develop, implement and evaluate safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and company standards, and to reduce EHS related risks.

The role involves disseminating policies to plant personnel, creating forms/reports for safety and environmental controls, and conducting regular internal training sessions to support continuous improvement.

Job description

Develops, implements and evaluates safety policies and procedures and may be involved in the compliance and ensurance of product EHS. Provides leadership and technical expertise in the development of strategies, programs and training to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and company standards, improve safety and reduce/eliminate EHS related business risks. Interfaces with external EHS agencies. Partners with business/functional/EBS leaders on the development and implementation of action plans that drive closure of open issues and improvements resulting in improved safety performance and environmental controls. Occupational Health roles that are internally-oriented medical professionals that provide for and deliver health and safety programs and services to workers, worker populations, and community groups should be assigned to this job family.
