Demant Operations, S.A. de C.V. seeks an EHS Manager to oversee the implementation, control, measurement and follow up of Safety, Health, Environmental and Security programs in strict legal compliance.

You will drive program effectiveness and lead cross-functional teams to prevent risk and environmental impact. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, has at least 5 years in a related management role, and is bilingual with advanced English; a Master’s degree or specialized training is

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Master’s degree and/or specialized training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and monitor the Injury and Illness Prevention program and risk assessments.
• Ensure EHS and Security compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Support facility expansions, capital equipment installations, and major repairs.
• Create and execute budgets; report on manufacturing costs and variances.
• Provide technical expertise to solve mechanical, electrical, or H/N problems.
• Track internal EHS metrics and supervise program implementation.

Responsible of the implementation, control, measurement and follow up of the Safety, Health, Environmental and Security Programs and Policies under strict compliance of legal requirements to prevent Safety Risk and Environmental Impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Injury and Illness Prevention program, Risk and Environmental Assessments, Management of Change and all other activities that contribute to the
• EHS and Security compliance with all federal, state, and related safety regulations.
• Helps on major products such as expansion of facilities, acquisition and installation of capital equipment, major repairs and overhauls, plant layout changes, and other related matters to the best economic advantage and schedule.
• Formulates and implements an effective preventative maintenance program for process equipment and plant operating systems ( heating, air conditioning, and utilities) that include annual PM calendar, procedures, logbooks and document control.
• Provides technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems of a mechanical, electrical, or H/N.
• Responsible for the administration and tracking of internal EHS Metrics.
• Responsible for the supervision of the implementation, control, measurement, monitoring and follow up of the EHS and Security Programs and Policies, Injury and Illness Prevention, Risk and Environmental Assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations in regard to air, water and chemicals.
• Responsible for supervising Ergonomic evaluations and follow up of corrective and Preventive actions resulting from the evaluations.
• Responsible for vendor evaluation for the different services and equipment required by the EHS area.
• Create and execute budget according to company strategy, prepares periodic or special reports on manufacturing costs, causes of variances, machine and tooling cost data.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field in a Management Position
• Bilingual - English: Advanced
• Desirable master’s degree and/or Specialized Training in applicable trade skills and project management.
