Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a senior EH&S leader for its Mexican plant in Ciudad Juárez to drive the implementation and sustainability of the EH&S strategy, promoting a proactive safety culture and high performance that ensures legal compliance and risk reduction.

You will act as a change agent, energizing leaders and staff to strengthen safe behaviors, operational discipline, and EH&S leadership at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Overseeing compliance and routine testing on existing practices; identifying and reporting on areas needing interventions.
• Evaluating potential EHS hazards/accidents and participating in engineering solutions to improve standards.
• Coordinating periodic team meetings to discuss, create/enhance EHS programs, requirements and supporting technologies.
• Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with senior management to create consistency in EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S culture transformation through programs and initiatives focused on behavior change.
• Develop ownership and shared accountability in safety and environment topics.
• Influence supervisors, managers and operators to adopt EH&S standards as part of the business.
• Facilitate difficult conversations and address risk behaviors promptly and effectively.
• Act as coach and mentor to leaders to strengthen safety leadership capabilities.
