ZKW is seeking an EE Regulatory & Type Approval Affairs Engineer in Silao, full-time, to support development with regulatory and type-approval requirements across global automotive projects.

You will maintain documents, coordinate with authorities and labs, and help ensure compliant product certification, contributing to an international, collaborative team in a dynamic lighting and electronics environment.

Aufgaben

• Support project teams to ensure type approval requirements from the start.
• Keep documents, templates, and SharePoint pages up to date.
• Check feasibility and identify regulatory/type approval risks in RFQ and early development.
• Plan and coordinate product type approvals with authorities, test labs, and customers worldwide.
• Prepare and review type approval documents and store certificates in the database.
• Suggest test plans for legal requirements for V&V and for CoP.
• Support during COP audits.

Tasks

• Support project teams throughout development so all type approval requirements are considered right from the start, and to turn customer wishes into legally compliant solutions.
• Keep key documents, templates, and our SharePoint pages up to date and easy to use
• Contribute to RFQ and early development projects by checking feasibility and identifying regulatory/type approval risks
• Plan and coordinate product type approvals with authorities, test labs, and customers worldwide
• Prepare and review type approval documents and ensure all certificates are stored correctly in our database
• Suggest test plans regarding legal requirements for V&V and for Conformity of Production (CoP)
• support during COP audits

With all tasks you are supported by a global and international team, as well as internal checklists/tools to give a clear guidance.
