As an assistant to underwriters, you will review applications, gather information, and help prepare reports while learning underwriting guidelines and interacting with clients and agents.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, graduating in 2026 (or 2024/2025) in Administration, Finance, Accounting or related.
• Advanced English required.
• Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Customer service mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting underwriters in evaluating insurance applications
• Reviewing risk submissions and determine if they meet underwriting guidelines, relevant underwriting authority and AIG principles.
• Gathering and verifying information from various sources, such as clients, agents, and databases.
• Assisting in the preparation of underwriting reports and proposals.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure accurate risk assessment.
• Providing support in policy issuance and endorsement processes.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of underwriting activities.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in underwriting guidelines.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and agents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
