Whirlpool Corporation in Nuevo León, Apodaca, seeks an engineer to support the Dry Unit team within the Mechanical Structures Subsystem. You will contribute to design solutions for dry systems and help optimize cost, quality and time across multiple drying technologies.

Lead with Creo CAD proficiency, collaborate across design, manufacturing and supply, and apply risk tools to guide concept development and execution.

Formación

• BSME or related engineering degree required.
• Experience in appliance/consumer goods industry is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of risk management and project management.

Responsabilidades

• Drive new Cost & Quality projects for Dryers with a focus on structural components (plastic and metal) and physics understanding (Dynamics, thermodynamics, air flow).
• Support the module technology roadmaps and management of key inputs such as complexity reduction, attribute requirements, and cost & quality.
• Understand the critical module parameters that contribute to system level attribute requirements (functional decomposition).
• Support new product design from concept development to execution.
• Support in the development of multiple concepts and utilize FMEA, design verification plans and risk assessment tools to assist in decision making.
• Support in the development and capturing of the knowledge required to deliver module level excellence.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between design, product approval, manufacturing, and supply teams to ensure project alignment and on-time delivery.
