Siemens Energy in Querétaro seeks a Project Control Specialist to create, update, and maintain Engineering and Project Documentation for HV Substation projects. You will translate complex technical information into clear documentation, support PM processes, and ensure revision control across teams.

The role requires a engineering degree, 3+ years in technical documentation or project management, experience in manufacturing or engineering settings, and advanced English.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 3+ years in technical documentation or project/document management.
  • Experience in manufacturing/engineering environment; familiar with project execution processes and standards.
  • Knowledge of visual communication techniques and process diagrams; ability to create dashboards.
  • Experience with at least two of the following tools: Visio, MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive engineering and project documentation for HV Substation projects.
  • Apply quality control measures to ensure on-time delivery and documentation quality.
  • Communicate latest revisions to PM and Engineering teams and ensure proper usage.
  • Support risk identification and manage document revisions in response to standards and specs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to gather information to create/update internal/customer documentation.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Project Control Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive Engineering and Project Documentation for HV Substation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering deliverables, PM processes, document revision management, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the On-time delivery and quality of Project documentation.
  • Adhere to company standards for technical writing and documentation. Apply appropriate tools and software for creating and handling documentation
  • Communicate and distribute latest revisions of Project documentation (engineering deliverables, customer specification, change orders, RFI/RFQ, Routine Tests), and assure the correct use and implementation among PM and Engineering teams.
  • Risk Identification and management related new document’s revisions (standards, customer specs, ECNs, BOMs, etc).
  • Review and revise existing work instructions to reflect changes in products, processes, or safety standards. Ensure that all documentation is current and aligned with industry regulations. Work closely with engineers, technicians, and domain experts to gather information needed to create/update internal/customer Project documentation.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with at least 3+ years of experience in Technical Documentation, Project/Document Management, Electrical Substations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical support environment. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Project Execution processes (design approval, installation, commissioning, UAT/FAT). Understanding of mechanical, electrical, civil or control systems.
  • Knowledge of visual communication techniques and tools, including process diagrams, Standard Operation Process, Dashboards, etc.
  • Experience on 2 of the following tools (Visio, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, Tableau, Power Bi).
  • Advanced English Level
