Siemens Energy México, located in Querétaro, is seeking a Project Control Specialist to create, update, and maintain comprehensive engineering and project documentation for HV substation projects. You will work with Engineering and PM teams to ensure accurate, timely deliverables and implement quality controls.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years in technical documentation or project/document management, preferably in manufacturing or engineering settings.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with at least 3+ years of experience in Technical Documentation, Project/Document Management, Electrical Substations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical support environment. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Project Execution processes (design approval, installation, commissioning, UAT/FAT). Understanding of mechanical, electrical, civil or control systems.
  • Knowledge of visual communication techniques and tools, including process diagrams, Standard Operation Process, Dashboards, etc.
  • Experience with 2 of the following tools (Visio, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, Tableau, Power Bi).
  • Advanced English Level.

Responsabilidades

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the on‑time delivery and quality of Project documentation.
  • Adhere to company standards for technical writing and documentation. Apply appropriate tools and software for creating and handling documentation.
  • Communicate and distribute latest revisions of Project documentation (engineering deliverables, customer specification, change orders, RFI/RFQ, Routine Tests), and assure the correct use and implementation among PM and Engineering teams.
  • Risk identification and management related to new document revisions (standards, customer specs, ECNs, BOMs, etc).
  • Review and revise existing work instructions to reflect changes in products, processes, or safety standards. Ensure that all documentation is current and aligned with industry regulations. Work closely with engineers, technicians, and domain experts to gather information needed to create/update internal/customer Project documentation.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Project Control Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive Engineering and Project Documentation for HV Substation projects. What You Bring
