MKS Inc. in Nogales, Sonora is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to supervise Distribution Coordinators and ensure customer requirements are met with speed and quality.

You will organize workloads, oversee shipping/receiving, and maintain records while ensuring safety and accuracy in a professional office and/or manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead distribution coordinators to meet customer requirements on time
• Organize, schedule and assign work to ensure material requirements are met quickly
• Handle shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials
• Unpack and check goods against purchase orders or invoices; maintain receipts
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped
• Post weights and shipping charges; prepare goods for final shipment
• Inspect, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

This position will be reporting to: Logistics Supervisor

Principal Responsibilities:

• As a Team Leader will act as a logistics facilitator to ensure the activities of the Distribution Coordinators meet customer requirements in a timely and high quality manner
• Will organize, schedule and assign work to employees to ensure material requirements are met on a quick-turn basis
• May also be responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
• Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of related experience

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
