MKS Instruments is seeking a Logistics Team Leader in Mexico to ensure timely, accurate distribution and to supervise Distribution Coordinators in meeting customer requirements. You will organize workloads, coordinate shipping, receiving, and storage, and ensure accurate records and packaging for dispatch.

The role involves forklift operation, handling heavy items, and maintaining inventory for manufacturing lines.

• 6+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse leadership.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating distribution activities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Distribution Coordinators to meet customer requirements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to staff to meet material requirements rapidly.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials and parts.
• Unpack, inspect, and record goods; reject items as needed.
• Operate forklift and handle heavy items as required.
• Prepare and record merchandise shipped and post weights/shipping charges.
• Stock and distribute inventory across manufacturing lines.
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

This position will be reporting to: Logistics Supervisor

Principal Responsibilities:

• As a Team Leader will act as a logistics facilitator to ensure the activities of the Distribution Coordinators meet customer requirements in a timely and high quality manner


• Will organize, schedule and assign work to employees to ensure material requirements are met on a quick-turn basis


• May also be responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment


• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary


• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift


• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped


• Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment


• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines


• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of related experience

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs


• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination


• Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
