Job summary

BairesDev in Mexico is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and operate the AWS serverless infrastructure powering products used by millions. This hands-on role sets the technical standard for how the team builds on AWS, from infrastructure as code to container orchestration.

You will design APIs, data models with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and own features end to end while mentoring others in Python and cloud best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong Python skills.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.
