Lonestar Electric Supply Partners is seeking a Dispatch Lead to oversee a dynamic team that schedules drivers for pick-up and delivery of electrical tools and supplies. This role emphasizes safe, efficient, and timely operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, prompt, and engaged with a strong desire to provide superior customer service, demonstrating leadership to ensure compliance and on-time performance.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in a dispatch or management role overseeing shipping associates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to prepare and assign routes.
• Strong leadership skills to ensure drivers' compliance with direction and assignments.
• Basic understanding of geographical area and mapping programs to facilitate efficient routing.
• Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and recordkeeping systems.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.
• Thorough understanding of shipping industry.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules drivers for pick-up and delivery; selects most efficient routes for each driver.
• Oversees equipment availability; assigns drivers, trucks, and extra drivers when needed.
• Consolidates orders into truckloads for specific destinations.
• Anticipates weather complications along routes and at the drivers' destinations; communicates delays and route changes as necessary.
• Maintains radio and/or phone contact with drivers; receives and dispatches response and emergency aid when needed.
• Maintains and reviews billing and operation records; monitors daily logs for errors and/or compliance violations.
• Monitors drivers' working hours to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Provides support and training to other Dispatch Associates as needed.
• Oversees maintenance and repair schedules for vehicles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Lonestar Electric Supply is looking for a Dispatch Lead who will help oversee a dynamic team of individuals who schedule drivers for pick-up and delivery of our electrical tools and supplies in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. The ideal candidate will be dependable, prompt, reliable and engaged. Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 40 lbs. may be required infrequently.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization's physical premises.
