PER in Mexico City is hiring an experienced Head of Accounting to lead end-to-end accounting across the group. You will ensure accurate reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and Mexican NIFs, while driving transformation of processes to scalable operations.

You will oversee investor reporting, audits, and internal controls, guiding a high-performing team and partnering with executives on budgeting and forecasting to support growth.

Formación

• Progressive accounting experience including hands-on preparation and review of financial statements.
• Experience in real estate accounting is preferred, with lodging/hospitality seen as desirable.
• CPA or equivalent certification is required and familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and Mexican NIFs is essential.
• Experience with MRI or similar ERP systems and designing/improving accounting processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end accounting for the group's entities, overseeing GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and close cycles under US GAAP, IFRS, and NIFs.
• Oversee financial and investor reporting, audits, internal controls, and memos; ensure compliance with evolving standards.
• Drive transformation with scalable policies, systems, MRI automation, and enhanced data quality and close timelines.
• Analyze financial results to identify variances, cost savings, and process improvements; provide actionable insights to management.
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executives on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support growth and profitability.
