Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and optimize the hotel’s facilities operations. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and energy efficiency while managing capital projects and budgets to meet corporate standards.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and drive maintenance strategy across buildings and grounds. The position requires strong leadership, project management, and a deep understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in a luxury resort

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a facilities engineering leadership role in a hotel/resort.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Property Management preferred.
• Extensive project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage facility management operations and technologies.
• Oversee budget, capital projects and energy conservation requirements.
• Monitor maintenance quality and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Develop maintenance contracts and supervise vendors/contractors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations and standards.
• Lead project planning and execution from initiation to completion.
