Flex is seeking a Director, Global Program Management (Medical experience) to be stationed at the Aguascalientes site in Mexico. You will oversee complex programs, aligning with company goals and driving successful outcomes across departments.

The role requires strong program management experience, leadership, and the ability to communicate with executive-level stakeholders. Medical device manufacturing expertise is essential for development through commercialization.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical, business administration, engineering, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong program management experience.
  • Ability to lead programs with drive and accountability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, including technical concepts, budgets, risks, and schedule issues.
  • Expertise in various manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Ability to support business development by presenting to prospective customers as the program management representative.
  • Understanding of the unique challenges of medical device manufacturing.
  • Experience managing programs from early concept through transfer to manufacturing.
  • Outstanding communication skills for executive audiences and strong presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain accountability for assigned programs, ensuring that content, quality, and accuracy meet requirements.
  • Create and manage program schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor key milestones and adherence to timelines and deliverables.
  • Drive the program with strong leadership and ownership beyond status reporting.
  • Manage customer relationships globally and be the single point of escalation for program issues.
  • Establish program structure and operating rhythm for reporting and execution.
  • Partner with operations, commercial, and cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of strategies between Flex sites, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Drive continuous improvements and standardization using best practices and documented frameworks.
  • Contribute to customer contract development and ensure requirements are met by Flex and customer.
  • Leverage OEM experience in launching medical devices including regulatory, reimbursement, and operational aspects.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Global Program Management (Medical experience) located in Aguascalientes Site, Mexico. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Program Management, the Director, Global Program Management role will oversee complex projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving successful outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Maintain accountability for assigned programs, ensuring that the content, quality, and accuracy of program deliverables meet our internal and customer's requirements.
  • Create and manage program schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor key milestones, ensuring adherence to identified timelines and deliverables of key objectives.
  • Drive the program with strong leadership, taking ownership of all critical aspects to ensure program success. This includes proactively leading the charge, rather than merely reporting status updates.
  • Manage customer relationships globally and be the single point of escalation for all program management and operational performance issues escalated beyond site management.
  • Establish and maintain program structure and operating rhythm to ensure systematic and accurate reporting and program execution.
  • Partner with operations, commercial, and various cross-functional teams to drive execution toward program outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of defined strategies between the Flex manufacturing sites, stakeholders, internal functions, and customer.
  • Drive continuous improvements and standardization efforts by leveraging best practices, creating/documenting repeatable frameworks, and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide input into customer contract development and ensure contract requirements are adhered to by both Flex and the customer.
  • Leverage OEM experience in launching medical devices, including regulatory, reimbursement, and operational requirements, ensuring full readiness from development through commercialization.

  • A thorough understanding of the unique challenges of medical device manufacturing.
  • Experience managing programs from early concept through transfer to manufacturing.
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences and strong presentation skills.
