Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Factory Operations Director for its Hermosillo, Sonora facility. The role demands strategic leadership in high-volume manufacturing, cost control, and a relentless focus on quality and safety.

You will drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs while building a world-class operations team and managing significant annual expenditures. This executive position offers substantial development and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing/operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in FMCG.
• Proven track record in large-scale manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of factory operations including production planning, manufacturing, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality protocols.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team with a culture of accountability.
• Manage the factory budget, optimize resources, and control expenditures.
• Drive process optimization, waste reduction, and adoption of new manufacturing technologies.
• Collaborate with supply chain, R&D, and sales to align operations with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.
