Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction management with a focus on industrial/logistics facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale industrial projects; strong contracts and budgets.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee end-to-end management of industrial and logistics construction projects.
• Develop strategic construction plans, including scheduling, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor construction teams and manage project managers, site supervisors, and staff.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Construction Director to lead the development of industrial and logistics facilities in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua . This senior leadership position demands a proven ability to manage complex construction projects, large teams, and significant budgets from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of industrial construction methods, supply chain logistics, and site development in a dynamic manufacturing hub. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, supporting the growth of key industries in the region. We are looking for a leader who can drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of industrial and logistics construction projects.
• Develop and implement strategic construction plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Manage and mentor construction teams, including project managers, site supervisors, and administrative staff.
• Control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations (including OSHA equivalents), and environmental standards.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage general contractors and key subcontractors.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and legal departments.
• Liaise with local authorities and utility providers to facilitate project progress.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in construction management, with a substantial focus on industrial and logistics facilities.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, budget management, and financial oversight.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and technologies relevant to industrial facilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in the industrial landscape of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
