Join us as a Digital Forensics Advisor on our eDiscovery, Forensics, and Investigations (eFI) team to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

Reporting to the eDiscovery, Forensics, and Investigations (eFI) Team, the Digital Forensics Advisor is an active participant in digital forensic investigations. The Advisor will participate in all stages of an investigation through planning, collection, analysis, and reporting.

The ideal candidate must be a strong team player that enjoys a fast-paced and challenging global environment. Candidates must be able to work proactively and independently while demonstrating organizational, time, and priority management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.

You will:

1. Manage multiple investigation requests through the entire lifecycle of initiation, data collection, analysis, and data production.
2. Inform stakeholders through regular communication and incident reporting of the status, resolution, and final root cause analysis.
3. Ensure appropriate tracking, handling, and reporting of events to meet audit, legal, and laboratory accreditation requirements.
4. Regularly interact with eFI Leadership and our internal customers.
5. Perform other duties as required.

1. Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
2. Experience working with digital investigations, evidence handling, and computer forensics.
3. Experience with one or more major computer forensic and eDiscovery products in an enterprise environment (such as EnCase, FTK, etc.).
4. Advanced knowledge of file systems and underlying data structures, and strong problem solving and analytical skills.
5. Strong English-language communications skills.

Desired Requirements

1. Experience working with MS Windows Desktop and Server operating systems, Azure cloud and Splunk.
2. Ability to script using a scripting language (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
3. Experience with message archival systems (Enterprise Vault, SourceOne, Exchange, etc.).

Dell’s Hybrid Work Culture

We feel freedom and flexibility are crucial—our flexible and hybrid work style allows team members to have the freedom to ideate, be innovative and drive results their way.

Team members who live within a one-hour commute of a major Dell site location will be considered hybrid and expected to be onsite a minimum of three days per week, while the other days can be from anywhere.

Team members who live more than a one-hour commute from a major Dell site location will be considered remote but may have the option to work hybrid should they choose to, with their leader’s approval.
