Grupo Pesado Castro in Monterrey, Nuevo León, seeks a Die Casting Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance organization, driving equipment reliability, safety, and performance aligned with global standards.

The role requires experience in machine, die, and facilities management, with a focus on preventive and predictive maintenance, cost improvements, and cross-functional leadership to support manufacturing excellence.

Formación

• Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance management.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role within multi-plant environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electromechanical, or industrial fields; master’s preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve KPIs: OEE, MTTR/MTBF, zero accidents, and energy targets.
• Lead maintenance for machines, die casting, and facilities to ensure reliability.
• Plan budgets for CBM and predictive maintenance activities and investments.
• Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies and problem-solving methods.
• Ensure ISO45001, ISO14001, and IATF compliance across maintenance operations.

Position: Die Casting Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager provides strategic direction and operational leadership for the Maintenance organization, ensuring world-class equipment reliability, safety, and performance aligned with company objectives, customer requirements, and global manufacturing standards. The role is responsible for Machine, Die and Facilities (asset) management, preventive and predictive maintenance, cost improvements, team development, and cross-functional collaboration to support Manufacturing operational excellence.

Profile

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within multi-plant environments, preferably in world-class companies.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electromechanical, Industrial, or related fields. A master’s degree or additional training in management or related areas is preferred.

English is required.

Responsibilities

• KPIs achievement OEE, BM, Chokotei, MMC, Zero Accidents, Zero Quality issues, MTTR/MTBF, overtime reduction, Skill target, Zero Production disturbance, Energy consumption target.
• Get compliance of Safety Standard, Procedures and rules, create a Safety environment free risk.
• Effective budget Planning based on CBM & Predictive Maintenance for: Machine Maintenance Cost, Investment (Overhauls), Direct Expenses, Headcount & New Products and Equipment.
• Effective Facilities program for Production supplies, Zero disturbance and Energy consumption reduction and strong control.
• Make weekly and monthly macro analysis of issues, find real root cause and define effective countermeasure, to create strategies to improve KPIs. Implement structured methodologies and systemic problem-solving.
• Provide daily Coaching to middle Management to increase Maintenance Capability and Competitiveness.
• Promote company Values, Lead as Example to Get things Done.
• Clarify Vision & Propose of Maintenance area. Clarify R&R of Maintenance staff.
• Empower the Team and keep motivation. Give recognition and Growth opportunities for Talented people.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Maintenance organization, ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and performance aligned with Manufacturing, Safety and quality objectives.
• Develop and execute middle and long-term maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance plan.
• Proper Planning for investment projects: machinery Overhaul, refurbish, upgrades, automation, tooling, and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, Safety, Quality, Financial audits, Govern and corporate standards: ISO45001, ISO14001, IATF.
