Job summary

Capgemini Mexico is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and govern CI/CD pipelines across projects. You will work with data and application teams to improve deployment efficiency and governance, leveraging GitHub Actions, scripting, and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes strong automation, secure secrets management, and collaboration in Agile teams to raise software delivery standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.
• Strong software development and automation background.
• Experience supporting production applications and deployment platforms.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop reusable automation solutions using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment workflows.
• Administer GitHub repositories, teams, access controls, and branch protection policies.
• Manage secrets and credentials using secure enterprise practices.
• Support branching strategies, pull request workflows, and release management processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and production deployment issues.
