EQUALS TRUE is a remote-first design partner working with leading digital brands across the Americas. We are seeking a Design Director to lead multidisciplinary teams, shape creative direction, and own end-to-end design across brand, UI, and visual design.

You will mentor designers, build scalable design systems, and collaborate with clients and strategists to deliver digital-first campaigns while staying hands-on with the craft.

Formación

• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams at a senior level in a digital agency, design studio, or in-house creative team.
• A digital-first portfolio that showcases craft and process from exploration to final execution.
• Strong hands-on skills across brand, visual design, and UI, including wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience building a design system or visual framework from the ground up.
• Ability to present and stand behind design decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Strong command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus Notion and Miro.

The Work (What you'll be doing & Your Impact)

Needed Expertise (What you need to succeed in the role)

• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams at a senior level in a digital agency, design studio, or in-house creative team.
• A digital-first portfolio that showcases both craft and process, from early exploration through final execution.
• Strong hands-on skills across brand, visual design, and UI, including wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience building a design system or visual framework from the ground up.
• Ability to present and stand behind design decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Strong command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, along with collaboration tools like Notion and Miro.

Not Required But Nice To Have Expertise (What would be great for you to have)

• Motion design skills or experience directing motion designers.
• Familiarity with how interactive web experiences are built, with an understanding of technical feasibility.
