Jellyfish invites a Design Director to lead a global design team responsible for high-quality content across static, motion, and social channels. You will guide localization for diverse markets, maintaining brand integrity while evolving creative standards using AI tools like Pencil Pro.

You will collaborate with VPs of Creative and clients to present ideas, optimise workflows across time zones, and ensure briefs are met with strategic creativity and excellence.

Formación

• 7+ years in a design leadership role within an agency or brand environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with globally recognised brands and adapting design solutions for diverse markets.
• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of AI design tools and prompting methodologies.
• Motion design and video editing experience; 3D tools like Blender are a bonus.

Job Description

As Design Director in the production and adaptation space, reporting to the Senior Design Director , you will lead a talented team of designers to create high-quality, compelling content for globally recognised brands. We are looking for someone with a combination of hands‑on design skills and ensure creative excellence across several touch points, including static graphics, motion graphics, digital content, and social media.

You’ll guide and support your team to adapt and localise content for different markets, ensuring that all assets are produced to the highest standard. You will also use AI tools like Pencil Pro to refine workflows and improve the adaptation process. Your role is important in ensuring the delivery of creative work that meets client needs while staying ahead of design trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a globally dispersed design team, encouraging a sense of community and ensuring delivery of high-quality work.

• Participate in project reviews, collaborating with the project team to ensure that all briefs are met and creative output aligns with client expectations.

• Oversee the production and adaptation of content across multiple channels, ensuring that both static and motion graphics meet brand guidelines and project requirements.

• Use AI tools such as Pencil Pro to refine the design process, adapt content and maintain high creative standards for both static and motion designs.

• Integrate Pencil Pro's capabilities for generating and iterating design assets quickly, allowing the team to optimize workflows and speed up the adaptation process.

• Collaborate with creative teams and project managers to ensure briefs are understood and completed.

• Create content for localisation and adapt assets for different regions and social media/ digital platforms while keeping the brand message intact.

• Present ideas and design solutions to our teams, VPs of Creative, and clients, ensuring clarity and influence in every presentation.

Qualifications

• 7 years of professional experience in a relevant design role within an agency or brand environment.

• Advanced English proficiency.

• Experience working with globally recognised brands, adapting design solutions to fit diverse markets.

• Expertise in design tools including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects andPremiere Pro.

• In-depth knowledge of AI design tools and best practice prompting methodology

• Proficiency in motion design and video editing, with an understanding of 3D animation tools (e.g., Blender) considered a bonus.

• Experience producing digital and social assets, both static and motion, for global audiences.

• Experience leading diverse design teams across multiple time zones.

• In-depth knowledge of social media and paid media design best practices.

• Familiarity with AI-driven tools like Pencil Pro for content adaptation and optimisation across projects.
