Job summary

Essity in Mexico is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive safe, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing performance. You will lead the department, optimize processes, manage budgets, and champion continuous improvement while developing teams and ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing Excellence standards.

The role focuses on process design, optimization, automation, and control, with strong emphasis on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and CAD/CAM methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Automation & Control, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Production Engineering or similar manufacturing roles.
• Experience in process design, optimization, automation and control.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAD/CAM and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing processes using statistical and quality tools.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Manufacturing Excellence standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, process control and standarisation.
• Manage the department budget, resources and maintenance plans.
• Monitor KPIs and develop improvement actions to achieve business objectives.
• Support product, material and CAPEX projects.
• Coach and develop operational teams to achieve performance objectives.
• Ensure effective payroll and people management within the department.

About the Role
