Job summary

Ford is seeking a motivated Scheduling Intern to support day-to-day activities in demand planning across our distributor network. You will help ensure that dealers can place orders on time, that units arrive in Mexico, and that import and commercialization requirements are met.

You will collaborate with the US allocation team in a fast-paced, international environment, developing expertise with Excel, Power BI, and potentially Alteryx, Python or SQL, while learning core concepts of scheduling

Qualifications

• Active student in engineering degree (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or related).
• Advanced Excel required.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) required.
• Alteryx, Power BI or programming experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support demand planning and scheduling activities for the distributor network.
• Assist with system maintenance and dealer order placement processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Scheduling Intern to support the day-to-day activities of our team. This area is responsible for managing demand planning across our distributor network, ensuring system maintenance, and guaranteeing that our dealers are able to place orders on time. The team also plays a key role in ensuring that units arrive in Mexico, are legally imported, and are successfully commercialized.

As part of this role, you will support a team that works in weekly coordination with the US allocation team, contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability and problem-solving are essential.

Education

• Active Student in Engineering degree (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering fields)

Technical Skills

• Excel — advanced level (required)
• English — advanced level, written and spoken (required)
• Alteryx — preferred, not required
• Power BI — preferred, not required
• Programming knowledge (Python, SQL, or similar) — preferred, not required
