Corning Inc. is seeking a Program Manager, Manufacturing & New Product Introduction, to lead cross-functional programs spanning new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, capacity expansion, and performance across global sites.

You will translate customer and business priorities into actionable plans, align resources, track milestones, and manage risks while delivering high-quality execution in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, technology, product development, operations, or PM/Program Mgmt.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects across sites, suppliers, and customers.
  • Strong planning, milestone, risk management, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience with new product introduction and manufacturing readiness processes.

In this role, you will bring together technology, engineering, operations, commercial teams, suppliers, and customers to advance strategic manufacturing initiatives, strengthen operational readiness, and support business growth in a dynamic global environment.

Role Purpose

As a Program Manager, Manufacturing & New Product Introduction, you will lead cross-functional programs supporting new product solutions, manufacturing readiness, capacity expansion, and operational performance. You will coordinate activities across global sites and external partners, ensuring that project plans, technical requirements, resources, milestones, and risks are aligned. Your work will help translate customer and business priorities into effective execution while enabling timely, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional manufacturing and new product introduction programs focused on quality, flexibility, cycle time, cost, capacity, and delivery performance.
  • Coordinate process, equipment, supplier, and manufacturing readiness activities across technology, engineering, operations, global manufacturing sites, and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, action registers, risk assessments, decision logs, and status reports; communicate progress, dependencies, and escalation needs to stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Partner with commercial, product management, manufacturing, suppliers, equipment vendors, and customers to align requirements, support business cases, resolve risks, and deliver shared program objectives.
Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, technology, product development, operations, or project/program management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving engineering, operations, manufacturing sites, suppliers, commercial teams, or customers.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, milestone management, risk mitigation, action tracking, and executive level communication.
  • Experience with new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, product quality processes, or related engineering and business processes; experience with manufacturing technology and equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to convert customer, commercial, and technical requirements into clear plans, deliverables, and execution priorities.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, influencing, and relationship building skills, with the ability to gain alignment across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
