CAT is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to ensure the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and Oracle Database 19c run with high availability and security on a Red Hat Linux environment in Monterrey, MX. The role covers middleware components, TLS, OAM/OID, Data Guard, and DR planning.

You will manage EBS cloning, patching, and performance tuning, providing expert support for Oracle RAC/ASM and OEM. Strong English and a relevant bachelor’s degree are required.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/related field, Advanced English required.
• Extensive experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 and Oracle DB 19c on Linux.
• Strong knowledge of security, DR, and high-availability architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain stability, security, availability, and performance of Oracle EBS 12.2 on 19c.
• Manage TLS certificates and end-to-end encryption for backend services.
• Oversee Data Guard setup, DR planning, and backup processes.
• Administer WebLogic/Fusion Middleware and ORDS/ECC components.
• Lead security hardening, OAM/OID auth, and TLS implementation.
• Mentor teammates and drive technical solutions for business needs.

Job Summary

The Database Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, availability, and performance of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 platform running on Oracle Database 19c, supporting business continuity through the comprehensive administration of applications, databases, middleware, and the associated technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Applications 12.2 and Oracle database 19c.
• Support Oracle EBS on 19c database with multitenant architecture.
• Manage RHEL OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System) virtualized environment.
• Support EBS environment cloning.
• Implement and administrate TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.2 certificates for Oracle EBS for end-to-end encryption for all backend (behind the load balancer) services in an Oracle EBS deployment.
• Work on WebLogic/Fusion Middleware administration.
• Administrate ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) and Oracle ECC (Enterprise Command Centre).
• Handle Oracle Apex (Application Express), Bash scripting and automation.
• Manage EBS full stack security patching.
• Configure, administrate and register OAM (Oracle Access Manager) and OID (Oracle Internet Directory) for single EBS sign-on.
• Design HA (highly available) architectures and DR (disaster recovery) plans.
• Manage Data Guard setup and administration.
• Handle Rubrik backup and configuration.
• Manage Oracle Database performance with tuning.
• Full knowledge of Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) technology with ability to administer and support.
• Handle Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager).
• Mentor others to enhance their technical competence and its application to achieve more effective technical solutions.
• Coach others in promoting, defining, analyzing, and providing superior technical solutions to business problems.
• Provides effective solutions to moderate technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.

Education Requirements

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced English-speaking level is required. Additional Information

The location for this position is Monterrey, MX.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday (7am-4pm).

This position may require up to 10% travel- domestic and international.
