Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Data Governance & Observability Specialist in Mexico to own and maintain enterprise data governance capabilities, including metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, and stewardship processes across the organization.

You will partner with Data Engineers, Analytics, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to onboard, govern, and document data assets, support Snowflake governance, and drive continuous improvements that increase trust and data reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with data governance platforms such as Atlan, Collibra or Alation.
• Hands-on data quality and observability, monitoring freshness, completeness and accuracy.
• Knowledge of Snowflake governance features, tagging and access controls.
• Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders to define ownership and policies.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
