Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a data engineer to design and build scalable Snowflake data models, dbt pipelines, and robust ELT/ETL processes. The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and cost optimization across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). You will collaborate across ERP, MES, IoT, and API sources to enable analytics and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python, and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering with Snowflake and dbt.
• Expert-level Snowflake data modeling, performance tuning, and cost management.
• Strong SQL, Python, and BI/dashboard experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build Data Models in Snowflake using star/snowflake schemas.
• Develop & Maintain dbt Projects end-to-end with tests and CI/CD.
• Snowflake Cost Optimization including warehouse sizing and auto-suspend.
• Data Pipeline Development to ingest data from ERP/MES/IoT/APIs into Snowflake/AWS.
• Data Quality & Governance including lineage and documentation.
