Amazon Data Services MX, S. de is seeking a controls engineer to manage the BMS and EPMS across AWS data centers in Querétaro. You will troubleshoot, manage projects, and help develop standards using AWS leadership principles.

Your role involves on‑call emergencies, vendor coordination, and frequent travel to data centers; requires a mechanical/electrical engineering background and 3+ years in industrial controls.

Formación

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent (or 5+ years of experience).
• 2+ years of general contractor and vendor management in construction and project execution.
• 3+ years of industrial controls experience in critical environments (data centers, pharma, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full lifecycle of BMS and EPMS across multiple data centers.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and levels of effort.
• Participate in AWS global on‑call for immediate technical support.
• Coordinate procurement activities (RFQs/RFPs/RFIs) and supervise vendors to specs.
• Frequent travel to locally assigned data centers for troubleshooting and supervision.
