FLSmidth is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in Monterrey to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring data integrity and system availability. You will work with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls, conducting vulnerability testing and implementing containment measures.

You will develop security policies, train staff, collaborate with IT, and stay current on threats and technologies to strengthen our defense posture. A 2+ year background in cyber security is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a cyber security role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with an ITSM Platform (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
• Solid understanding of frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with SIEM, network protocols, Windows/Linux, and cloud security (Azure, AWS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for effective collaboration and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) for anomalies and threats.
• Analyze security incidents, identify root causes, and contain remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing; suggest mitigations.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Lead security awareness training and work with IT to implement controls.
• Stay updated on cyber security trends to improve defenses.
• Assist in incident response planning, forensic analysis, and recovery.
• Generate security reports and metrics for management; evaluate new tools.
