N/A is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst in Mexico City to join the security operations team. The role focuses on monitoring, investigating, and responding to threats across endpoints, servers, networks, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have solid IT infrastructure knowledge, experience analyzing alerts, and ability to propose effective remediation actions. Service Desk or IT admin backgrounds are welcome.

Formación

• : 3+ years in Cyber Security, SOC, or related IT infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and identity management.
• Familiarity with email systems and security.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.
• Experience investigating security alerts and incidents.
• Ability to analyze how enterprise tech communicates.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to propose practical remediation actions.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM, EDR, email security, firewall, and network monitoring tools.
• Investigate potential security incidents and determine if systems are under attack.
• Analyze threats affecting computers, devices, servers, networks, and cloud environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities and security gaps; recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and engineering teams to implement fixes.
• Review suspicious emails, phishing attempts, and malicious activity.
• Support incident response activities: containment, eradication, recovery.
• Contribute to security monitoring and detection process improvements.
• Document findings, incident reports, and remediation recommendations.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and hardening.
