KIA Mexico is seeking a Customs Compliance Monitor to oversee daily import operations under the Automotive Fiscal Deposit Regime and ensure Kia's foreign trade certifications are met.

You will coordinate with government authorities, develop internal procedures, and implement cost-saving customs strategies while maintaining strong relations with customs and ensuring timely reporting of deviations.

Formación

• Knowledge of FTA regulations for automotive imports.
• Experience with Mexican customs regulations, IMMEX and PROSEC.
• Experience with CBP/SAT/ANAM verification.
• Conversational English required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor compliance of Foreign Trade Authorizations (IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA, AEO, and Fiscal Deposit).
• Coordinate customs and tax authorities audits.
• Develop and implement internal procedures.
• Design customs strategies that help improves Cost Avoidance.
• Network with customs authorities to strengthen Kia's relationships.
• Accurately and timely report deviations and advise action plans.

Objective of the position

Monitor the Customs Compliance of the daily Import Operation under the Automotive Fiscal Deposit Regime, guarantee the fulfillment of the obligations of Kia’s Foreign Trade Certifications

Typical tasks:

• Monitor the compliance of Foreign Trade Authorizations (IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA, AEO, and Fiscal Deposit) granted by Governmental Authorities.
• Coordinate Customs & Tax Authorities Audits.
• Development and implementation of internal procedures
• Design and implement customs strategies that help improves Cost Avoidance.
• Networking with customs authorities to strengthen the relationship with Kia.
• Accurately and timely report the deviations detected and advise action plans.

Qualifications

• FTA regulations
• Mexican customs regulations (customs law, foreign trade rules, fiscal deposit for automotive industry, PROSEC & IMMEX)
• CBP/SAT/ANAM verification
• Conversational English (required)
