Vertiv Co in Mexicali, Mexico, seeks a qualified IMMEX import/export coordinator responsible for supervising operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and coordinating with brokers and internal areas to guarantee timely clearances and proper inventory control.

The role requires a university degree in management or engineering, at least one year of experience, and knowledge of Annex 24 inventory systems; fluent English and willingness to travel may be needed.

Formación

• University degree in Management or Engineering.
• One year of experience in import/export operations.
• Experience in managing Annex 24 inventory control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and internal procedures.
• Maintain coordination with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances and address inspections, amendments, errors, and government requirements.
• Administer and monitor inventory control per Annex 24 requirements.
• Coordinate with internal areas (logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, Compliance) to ensure execution and traceability of IMMEX operations.
• Ensure correct application of customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, changes of regime).
• Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations (NOMs, permits, notices, quotas, certifications).
• Supervise preparation, validation, and transmission of customs declarations for tariff, tax, and identifier consistency.
• Ensure integration and retention of foreign trade compliance files as per regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, and weekends as needed.

Activities:

• Coordinate and supervise import and export operations, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations and the company's internal procedures.
• Maintain constant coordination with Customs Brokers to ensure timely clearances, addressing inspections, amendments, operational errors, and government requirements.
• Administer and monitor proper inventory control in accordance with Annex 24 requirements.
• Coordinate with internal areas such as logistics, planning, production, procurement, engineering, and Compliance to ensure proper execution and traceability of IMMEX operations.
• Ensure the correct application of customs regimes (temporary imports, virtual operations, returns, and changes of regime), verifying that transactions are executed within authorized terms and conditions.
• Monitor compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions applicable to IMMEX operations (NOMs, prior permits, automatic notices, quotas, certifications, among others).
• Supervise the proper preparation, validation, and transmission of customs declarations, ensuring consistency of tariff, tax, and identifier information.
• Ensure the integration and retention of foreign trade compliance files in accordance with current regulations.
• Coordinate customs support during extended hours, second shifts, and/or weekends, as required by operational needs.

Qualifications: -

Required/ Minimum Qualifications: -

• University Degree - Management or Engineering school preferably
• One year of experience.
• Experience in managing Annex 24 inventory control systems.
