A leading aerospace company in Queretaro seeks a Customer Support Engineer responsible for assisting engine owners with shop visit processes and reporting. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering and have fluency in English. The role offers excellent career progression opportunities within the organization.
The customer support engineer is responsible for administering and providing assistance to the engine owner regarding shop visit processes. He participates in daily gate review meetings, analyzes technical shop findings reports from subcontracted repair vendors, and elaborates engine condition reports, weekly status reports, and parts reports as required. The engineer supports other functions related to shop visit follow-up. The Customer Support Engineer reports directly to the account engine owner leader of each program and functionally to the Customer Support Manager. The position includes biannual OJT and objectives revision, with career progression options to Sr. Support Engineer or EO appointment.
Processes and elaborates inspection reports, including borescopic inspections and inventories. Analyzes exchange proposals and manages customer approvals. Oversees engine stand repair processes. Updates databases such as SSO, Monitoring Tool, Inductions, Power BI, and Docuware. Creates and launches sales orders in SAP. Prepares shop visit status reports and engine condition reports. Attends gates review, production, and genba meetings. Understands instructions and commercial guidelines. Maintains KPIs.
