Veta Virtual Inc. is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist for a fintech/cryptocurrency client.

You will guide new partners from first hello to a fully approved account in a fully remote role, coordinating with Compliance and Sales to ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to ongoing support. The role requires at least 1 year in onboarding or similar; you will manage sensitive information and use CRM tools in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year+ experience in customer onboarding, support, account coordination, operations, or similar role.
• Attention to detail; experience reviewing documents and keeping accurate records.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain requirements to business owners in simple terms.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills; ability to manage many cases and meet deadlines.
• Comfort using CRM platforms, document management systems, MS Office, and other business tools.
• Experience with KYC, business verification, or customer due diligence (bonus).

Aufgaben

• Collect KYC documents, ownership details, and onboarding materials following procedures.
• Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; follow up on missing items.
• Enter host information and documents into systems; keep records accurate and current.
• Coordinate with Compliance on reviews, requests, escalations; track cases to approval.
• Monitor progress on each case; resolve delays early and keep stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Host Success to ensure smooth onboarding to ongoing support.
• Handle sensitive information with privacy and security.
• Identify repeated onboarding problems and suggest improved messages/docs/workflows.
• Track onboarding activity, completion times, and open requirements.

Veta Virtual is hiring a Customer Onboarding Specialist for one of our high growth clients in the fintech and cryptocurrency industry. This is not a back-office data entry role. You will be the first friendly voice that new business partners meet. You will guide them step by step, from the first hello to a fully approved account, so they feel confident and supported from day one.

Your Role

• Acting as the main onboarding contact for new business hosts, explaining requirements, answering questions, and sharing clear next steps.
• Collecting business information, Know Your Customer (KYC) documents, ownership details, and other onboarding materials, following company procedures.
• Reviewing each submission for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, and following up quickly on missing items or differences.
• Entering host information and documents into the right systems and keeping every record accurate and current.
• Working with the Compliance team on reviews, document requests, and escalations, and tracking each case until approval.
• Monitoring progress on every case, solving delays early, and keeping hosts and internal teams informed.
• Partnering with Sales, Operations, and Host Success colleagues so each host moves smoothly from onboarding to ongoing support.
• Handling sensitive business and personal information with care, following privacy and security rules.
• Spotting repeated onboarding problems and recommending better messages, workflows, and documents.
• Tracking onboarding activity, completion times, and open requirements.

What You’ll Need

• At least one year of experience in customer onboarding, customer support, account coordination, operations, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing documents or keeping accurate customer records.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain requirements to business owners in simple terms.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills, including the ability to prioritize many cases and meet deadlines.
• Comfort using CRM platforms, document management systems, Microsoft Office, and other business tools.
• Sound judgment with confidential information and a clear sense of when to escape.
• Highly self-motivated and able to stay productive in a fully remote setting.
• Comfort and skill using AI tools to support research and daily productivity is a strong plus.
• Bonus: experience with KYC, business verification, or customer due diligence.
• Bonus: experience supporting business customers in financial services, fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency.
• Bonus: familiarity with business formation documents and ownership information.
• To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
