El candidato debe tener un título en ingeniería y al menos 2 años de experiencia en roles similares. Se valoran habilidades en SAP, Power BI y un dominio fluido del inglés. Formación

  • Título de ingeniero requerido.
  • Mínimo 2 años de experiencia como ingeniero de costos.
  • Conocimientos de procesos de producción y lectura de planos.

  • Analizar, estimar y controlar los costos asociados a proyectos y procesos.
  • Generar informes de costos para propuestas comerciales y toma de decisiones.
  • Identificar oportunidades para reducción de costos sin comprometer la calidad.

Objectives of the Position: Analyze, estimate, and control costs associated with projects, products, or processes, ensuring financial profitability and efficiency; as well as proper management of costs and the materials master in SAP, guaranteeing a correct order fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accurate and precise information of BOMs provided by the Engineering department and enter them into SAP, as well as times in the production processes (Product Route).
  • Generate cost reports for bids, commercial proposals, and decision-making.
  • Analyze costs of components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and perform cost-benefit or make vs buy analyses.
  • Develop quick costing models to promptly meet market requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure economic viability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or functionality.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of developing a world-class safety culture.

Knowledge, Education, and Qualifications:

  • Engineer degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a cost engineer
  • Desirable experience with sourcing
  • Advanced Office skills, Power BI, AI
  • Knowledge of production processes and reading blueprints
  • SAP proficiency
  • Fluent in English
