Mattel Brick Shop seeks a Cost Engineer at our Monterrey, Mexico plant to support innovative construction toy products through cost analysis, modeling, and value engineering. You will work with Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Finance, and Manufacturing to ensure products meet cost targets while preserving quality and consumer value.
Responsibilities include developing cost estimates, supporting design decisions and supplier negotiations, and identifying opportunities for optimization

The Opportunity:
Mattel Brick Shop is seeking a Cost Engineer located at our manufacturing plant in Monterey, Mexico to support the development of innovative construction toy products by providing cost analysis, cost modeling, value engineering, and cost intelligence throughout the product development lifecycle. Contribute to the development of scalable costing methodologies, cost knowledge, and category-level cost insights that support sustainable cost leadership. Working closely with Product Development, Design, Sourcing, Finance, and Manufacturing teams, you will help ensure products achieve cost targets while maintaining quality, performance, and consumer value.
