Sensient Technologies busca un Cost Accountant Senior para apoyar finanzas en las sedes de Tlalnepantla y Celaya. Se requiere experiencia sólida en costo de manufactura y conocimiento de GAAP, con fluidez en inglés y español.

El candidato trabajará con múltiples departamentos, gestionará costos de nuevos ítems y reportes mensuales de costo final, con uso de sistemas ERP de costos y inventarios. Se ofrece paquete de compensación competitivo y desarrollo profesional.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting or Engineering, Supply Chain with 5 years cost accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience using ERP cost and inventory systems.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; able to be present at Tlalnepantla and Celaya sites.

Responsabilidades

• Improve Cost Format.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost accuracy, Raw Material Obsolete, without price, Incorrect Cost Center, without hours, yield, etc.
• Evaluate LOH for New Items existing only in Devex, ensuring productive work centers.
• Identify errors in New Items Formulation, phantom, intermediates from other BU, Inactive Raw Materials, Manufacturing Intermediates.
• Evaluate STD Cost with Current Cost, Future Cost and Budget Cost.
• Achieve +95% Accuracy Final Cost (Commercialization Step 13) vs Format Cost.
• Prepare and share the STD Cost to pricing within 24 hours.
• Follow-up on lack of quotation and DDP for Raw materials.

We are looking for a Cost Accountant Senior to join our team and support the Finance business in Tlalnepantla and Celaya sites. Cost Accountant Senior will need to have solid experience in cost calculation in manufacturing area and food industry desirable. Works closely with several other departments, including Sales and Administration. Will be responsible for cost of new items and final cost monthly reports.

What you’ll do:

• Improve Cost Format
• Identify opportunities in order to improve the cost accuracy, Raw Material Obsolete, without price, Incorrect Cost Center, without hours, yield, etc.

What you’ll bring:

• Degree in Accounting or Engineering, Supply Chain, or 5 years’ experience in cost accounting.
• Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Complete familiarity and usage of ERP cost and inventory systems.
• ERP computer, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Teamwork, Reliability, Problem Solving, Adaptability, Integrity.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to be present in Tlalnepantla and Celaya Site.
