Flex in Guadalajara, North Site, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support the Controllers team with accounting records, P&L reviews, forecasting, and budget preparation. You will reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances with the business, ensure postings align with policy, and help close books on a timely, accurate basis.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or financial administration, advanced English, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of SOX and US GAAP auditing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in financial administration, accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SOX and US GAAP auditing.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work under pressure.
• Professional certification is preferred - CPA, CFP, CMA, APICS, CA, or CGA.

Responsabilidades

• Perform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts to ensure postings follow policy, process and procedures.
• Compare Actual with Forecast / Quote and research variances, posting required adjustments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with sub ledgers to identify variances and correct postings.
• Review accounts periodically to identify potential risk and mitigate.
• Ensure book close and reporting activities are planned and executed timely with accuracy.
• Work with Operations to prepare Forecast / Budget for related accounts.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve business and operational metrics.
• Familiar with Controllers Handbook and RCTS regulatory/reporting requirements.
