Flextronics - The Flex Company in Guadalajara, North Campus, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting for our manufacturing teams. This role reports to the Controller and focuses on cost control and accuracy across operations.

You'll analyze variances, assist with forecasting, and partner with Operations to improve cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and data analysis.
• Strong experience in customer service and customer relationship management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts to ensure postings follow policy and procedures.
• Compare actual results with forecast and ensure variances are researched and adjusted.
• Collect business reasons for variances and report appropriately.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with sub ledgers and schedules to identify variances.
• Review accounts periodically to identify potential risks and mitigations.
• Ensure book close and reporting activities are planned and executed timely with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations to prepare Forecast and Budget for related accounts.
• Work with Operations to improve business and operational metrics.
• Familiarize with accounting, regulatory, and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook and RCTS.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Cost Accountant , located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Controller, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like

• Perform periodic review of Profit and Loss (P&L) account to ensure that all the postings are done as per the defined Policy, Process and Procedures.
• Compare the Actual with Forecast / Quote and ensure that the variances are properly researched and required adjustment postings are done in the books.
• Collect the business reasons for the remaining variances and report appropriately.
• Reconcile all the scoped Balance sheet accounts with sub ledger/manual schedule to identify the variance, if any and ensure that those variances are properly dealt in the books of accounts.
• Review the accounts on periodic basis to identify any potential risk and ensure that the same is mitigated properly.
• Ensure that all the book close related /reporting activities are properly planned and executed on timely basis with utmost accuracy.
• Work with relevant teams to prepare the Forecast / Budget for the related accounts.
• Work along with Operations team to improve the business / operational metrics.
• Be familiar with relevant Accounting, regulatory and reporting requirements in the Controllers Handbook and RCTS
