Flex, a diversified manufacturing partner, seeks a Cost Accountant for our Guadalajara, North location. You will prepare and maintain accounting records, analyze variances, and support forecasting and budgeting processes to drive financial accuracy and business insights.

The role reports to the Controller and requires a BA/BS in finance or related field, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across teams to improve operational metrics.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Knowledge of variation reports vs forecast.
• Intermediate-Advanced English level.
• Knowledge and Experience with Excel.
• Schedule flexibility and availability to support business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform periodic review of P&L to ensure postings align with Policy and Procedures.
• Compare Actual vs Forecast and ensure variances are properly researched and adjusted.
• Collect business reasons for variances and report accordingly.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts with sub-ledger to identify variances.
• Review accounts periodically to identify potential risks and mitigate them.
• Ensure book close related/reporting activities are planned and executed timely with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations to prepare Forecast/Budget for related accounts.
• Work with relevant teams to improve business/operational metrics.
• Adhere to Controllers Handbook and regulatory reporting requirements.
